Fairfax County location strengthens support, maintenance and fielding capabilities for SMASH systems deployed across U.S. military services.
FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — Smart Shooter has opened new offices in Herndon, Virginia, expanding its established U.S. operations and strengthening its ability to support military customers using the company’s SMASH fire control systems.
Located in Dulles Office Park, the offices increase Smart Shooter’s capacity to provide customer support, maintenance and fielding assistance as deployment of its systems grows across the U.S. armed forces.
The expansion follows a series of new and follow-on awards over the past year supporting requirements across the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps. According to the company, thousands of SMASH systems are deployed across U.S. military services.
Expanding Support for U.S. Military Customers
The Herndon offices provide additional infrastructure to help Smart Shooter support systems throughout their operational service, with an emphasis on responsiveness and sustained readiness.
Scott Thompson, general manager of Smart Shooter Inc., said the expansion reflects the growing need for customer support as more SMASH systems enter service. The offices will allow the company to work more closely with customers and respond to their evolving requirements.
“The opening of our new offices marks an important step in the continued expansion of Smart Shooter’s U.S. operations,” Thompson said.
