EVANSVILLE, Ind. (Feb. 26, 2026) — Indiana Governor Mike Braun announced that TaylorMade Golf Co. plans to expand its operations in Vanderburgh County with a multimillion-dollar investment that will create up to 50 new jobs by the end of 2031, reinforcing southwest Indiana’s role as a key logistics and distribution hub.
“TaylorMade’s expansion is welcomed news for our southwest Indiana community and for the state’s growing economy,” said Gov. Braun. “Located at the Crossroads of America, Indiana allows companies like TaylorMade to efficiently serve customers across North America while providing Hoosiers with high-quality career opportunities.”
New Distribution Center to Support Growing Demand
TaylorMade, which relocated its warehouse and distribution operations to Evansville in 2017, will develop and equip a new built-to-suit warehouse facility on 53 acres at 6700 Petersburg Road. The expansion will consolidate the company’s regional operations under one roof, improving efficiency and supporting rising demand across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
The Evansville location enables TaylorMade to reach more than 80% of its North American customers within three days, strengthening fulfillment capabilities and supply chain performance.
“This project represents an exciting next chapter for TaylorMade Golf and Sun Day Red as we continue investing in our people, products, and long-term growth,” said Jessica Delgado, Associate Director of PMO Operations at TaylorMade Golf. “Indiana’s strong workforce, collaborative spirit, and commitment to growth make it the ideal location for this expansion.”
The new facility will support fulfillment operations for both TaylorMade Golf equipment and Sun Day Red, the company’s premium performance apparel and footwear brand. The site is expected to ship millions of products annually once fully operational.
TaylorMade anticipates beginning occupancy in early 2027, with hiring for new roles expected later that year.
Local and State Support
Local leaders highlighted the company’s continued investment as a sign of confidence in the region’s workforce and business environment.
“TaylorMade’s decision to expand in Vanderburgh County is a strong vote of confidence in our community,” said Justin Elpers, President of the Vanderburgh County Board of Commissioners. “We’re proud to support employers that create quality jobs and invest in our region’s future.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) committed up to $555,000 in performance-based tax credits, contingent upon job creation and capital investment milestones. Vanderburgh County will provide additional local incentives to support the project.
