Expansion to Create Up to 50 High-Wage Jobs in Vanderburgh County
EVANSVILLE, Ind. (June 9, 2026) — TaylorMade Golf Co. has officially broken ground on its new North American Distribution Center in Vanderburgh County, marking a major expansion of the company’s logistics and distribution operations in southwest Indiana.
Governor Mike Braun joined TaylorMade executives, state officials, the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership and Vanderburgh County leaders for a ceremonial wedge shot to celebrate the milestone. The expansion is expected to create up to 50 new, high-wage jobs in the Evansville region.
“Today is a great day for southwest Indiana as we celebrate this expansion for TaylorMade Golf and Sun Day Red here in Vanderburgh County,” said Governor Mike Braun. “This growth is a testament to the trust companies place in Hoosiers to deliver premier, top-quality brands – and most importantly, it will create new, high-paying job opportunities for workers.”
TaylorMade Expands Distribution Operations in Evansville
TaylorMade first moved its warehouse and distribution operations to Evansville in 2017. Earlier this year, the company announced a multimillion-dollar investment to expand its footprint with a new, built-to-suit facility on 53 acres at 6700 Petersburg Road.
The new North American Distribution Center will support increased demand for TaylorMade and Sun Day Red products and position Evansville as a key logistics hub for serving customers across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
The expanded facility will help the company:
- Increase distribution capacity for TaylorMade and Sun Day Red products
- Support the annual shipment of millions of products across North America
- Create up to 50 new high-wage jobs in Vanderburgh County
- Strengthen Evansville’s role in advanced distribution and logistics
- Support continued growth in the golf equipment, apparel and lifestyle markets
“Evansville has been a tremendous partner for TaylorMade Golf and Sun Day Red, and this new distribution center is a reflection of our confidence in this community and the incredible team we’ve built here,” said Jessica Delgado, Associate Director of PMO Operations at TaylorMade Golf. “We’re excited for what’s ahead.”
New Jobs Expected to Pay Above County Average
TaylorMade plans to begin moving into the new North American Distribution Center in early 2027, with hiring for new positions expected to begin later this year. The company said the new jobs will offer average salaries equal to 125% of the Vanderburgh County average.
Local leaders said the investment reflects continued confidence in the region’s workforce, infrastructure and business climate.
“When a company like TaylorMade chooses to expand here, it’s a strong vote of confidence in Vanderburgh County,” said Vanderburgh County Commission President Justin Elpers. “We’re excited to support their continued success.”
