$75 million investment expected to create 250 new jobs in the Upstate
Columbia, SC — Techtronic Industries (TTI), a global leader in the design, manufacturing and marketing of quality consumer, professional and industrial products, is expanding its Power Equipment Group’s operations in Anderson County. The $75 million investment is expected to create 250 new jobs in the Upstate over the next several years.
Founded in 1985 and headquartered in Hong Kong, TTI has continuously expanded around the world through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. TTI now boasts, among its product offerings, some of the world’s most famous and iconic brands, including Milwaukee®, AEG®, Ryobi®, Homelite®, Hoover®, Oreck®, Vax® and Dirt Devil ®. To continue its growth in Anderson County, TTI is building a new 300,000-square-foot Innovation Center. This latest project complements the company’s $85 million expansion project, which was announced last year and completed this year.
