BOERNE, Texas (April 16, 2026) — The Boerne Kendall County Economic Development Corporation (BKCEDC) convened its Annual Members’ Meeting on April 14 at Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort, bringing together more than 75 members and regional stakeholders to discuss economic momentum and leadership for the year ahead.
The event featured keynote remarks from Alex Meade of the Texas Department of Transportation, who outlined the critical connection between statewide transportation infrastructure and local economic development strategies. Meade emphasized how coordination between state and local entities is essential to sustaining long-term growth across Texas communities.
BKCEDC President and CEO Amy Story delivered an organizational update, highlighting strong project activity, expanding partnerships, and workforce development initiatives aimed at supporting continued investment and job creation in Kendall County.

During the meeting, BKCEDC introduced its Executive Committee Officers for the upcoming term:
- Chair: Dakota Durden, GRIT Co.
- Vice Chair: Caleb Clark, Edward Jones
- Treasurer: Tony Trevino, Vantage Bank
- Secretary: Chuck Gregory, Terracon
- Past Chair: Dr. Phil Hunke, Hill Country Square
At-Large Members include Charity Huber of Bandera Electric Cooperative and Phillip Quintanilla of WS & P Insurance.
