C5ISR technology company grows to 70,000-square-foot Fairfax County facility to support engineering, manufacturing and product development
SPRINGFIELD, Va. (September 11, 2026) — Cornet Technology Inc. has expanded its Northern Virginia operations into a larger 70,000-square-foot facility in Springfield, positioning the defense technology company for continued growth in advanced manufacturing, engineering and secure communications.
The company’s expanded location at 7600 Boston Boulevard will support the creation of 80 new jobs while increasing capacity across engineering, product development, manufacturing, operations, testing and customer support.
Cornet Technology is a provider of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance, or C5ISR, solutions for military, public safety and other mission-critical applications.
The Springfield expansion represents a significant milestone for the Fairfax County-based small business as it responds to growing customer demand and pursues additional opportunities in the defense and technology sectors.
Cornet Technology Expands Advanced Manufacturing Capacity
The larger Springfield facility will provide Cornet Technology with additional room for personnel, equipment and manufacturing operations while allowing teams to collaborate more effectively across multiple business functions.
The expansion also establishes additional capacity for the company to develop, manufacture, test and support secure communications technologies used in demanding operational environments.
Cornet co-founder and CEO Nat Krishnan credited the depth of Northern Virginia’s workforce as a key factor in the company’s continued growth.

With the expansion, Cornet Technology plans to add 80 new positions, strengthening its workforce across technical and operational disciplines.
