Multi-million-dollar investment expands production capacity, creates local jobs, and strengthens the company’s commitment to Arkansas
HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Primo Brands Corporation (NYSE: PRMB) (“Primo Brands” or the “Company”), a leading North American healthy hydration company, announced the groundbreaking of a new state-of-the-art Mountain Valley® production facility in Hot Springs, Arkansas.
The 200,000-square-foot factory represents a multi-million-dollar investment that will expand production capacity and distribution capabilities for The Mountain Valley®, the company’s flagship premium spring and sparkling water brand. Expected to be fully operational by spring 2026, the new facility will feature one new small-format and two large-format production lines, modern warehousing, and logistics operations designed for efficiency and sustainability.
This project marks Primo Brands’ first new factory since its merger in 2024, underscoring the company’s growth strategy and long-term investment in Arkansas.
“We are excited to announce a new production facility that supports Mountain Valley’s accelerating momentum and underscores Primo Brands’ ongoing commitment to Arkansas,” said Robbert Rietbroek, Chief Executive Officer of Primo Brands. “This facility enhances our ability to meet growing demand for the premium water brand with greater efficiency, speed, and flexibility—while creating economic opportunities in the Hot Springs community.”
“The Mountain Valley® has proudly bottled its iconic spring and sparkling water in the Ouachita Mountains since 1871,” said Kenny McBride, Director of Manufacturing at Mountain Valley Spring Water. “With this expansion, we’re strengthening our long-term commitment to the local community and the region that has supported us for more than 150 years.”

Local and state leaders praised the investment as a reflection of Arkansas’ business-friendly climate and natural heritage.
“Mountain Valley is a quintessential Arkansas brand—built on tradition, health, and the natural beauty of our state,” said Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders. “For more than a century, it has been bottled straight from the Ouachita Mountains. I’m proud they’re continuing that legacy by investing in Arkansas and sharing a piece of our story with the world.”
“From the Ouachita Mountains to tables across the globe, Mountain Valley Spring Water carries the spirit of our region with every drop,” said Gary Troutman, President & CEO of the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce and Hot Springs Metro Partnership. “We’re proud to see this continued investment and expansion in our community.”
“Mountain Valley Spring Water is more than a source of refreshment—it’s a part of Garland County’s heritage,” said Darryl Mahoney, Garland County Judge. “This new facility reinforces that legacy and strengthens our local economy.”
“Hot Springs has the best water in the country, and combined with a great business environment, it makes this expansion a natural choice,” said Clint O’Neal, Executive Director of the Arkansas Economic Development Commission (AEDC). “We congratulate Primo Brands and The Mountain Valley team for this landmark investment.”
The new facility represents the next evolution of The Mountain Valley® brand’s 150-year legacy, combining timeless quality with modern innovation to meet growing consumer demand across the U.S. and Canada.
