06/17/2008 -- New Mexico Equipment Company Expands to Portales
Portales -- The Roosevelt County Community Development Corporation (RCCDC) announced earlier this week that New Mexico Machinery LLC has expanded to Portales, bringing a dozen new professional jobs to the community. New Mexico Machinery is a Roswell-based farm, ranch, dairy and over-the road truck sales, parts and service center. More Info
06/05/2008 -- PharmaCentra Expands Operations In Georgia
Atlanta -- PharmaCentra, an Atlanta-based marketing and services firm that provides customizable healthcare management programs for the pharmaceutical industry, announced earlier this week it is expanding its domestic operations center network with a new location in Americus."PharmaCentra's newest location demonstrates that Georgia has a quality workforce that will accommodate a growing company's needs," said Ken Stewart, commissioner of the Georgia Department of Economic Development. 05/22/2008 -- Shoals Technologies Group to Open Manufacturing Facility and Headquarters in Gallatin, TN
Nashville -- The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development joined the City of Gallatin and Shoals Technologies Group earlier this week to announce the company's decision to expand its operations and headquarters
into Gallatin, Tenn. Shoals, makers of solar energy panel components, will employ nearly 100 people at its new plant, including corporate executives, once fully operational. More Info
05/06/2008 -- Governor Kaine Announces More Than 1,000 Jobs for Virginia
Richmond, VA – Governor Timothy M. Kaine recently announced that Canon Virginia Inc. will invest a total of more than $600 million in its Newport News operations and its Industrial Resource Technologies Inc. (IRT) subsidiary’s facilities in Gloucester County, the first of several expansions planned as part of Canon Virginia’s “Vision for the Future” program. Canon Virginia is a subsidiary of Canon U.S.A. 2/15/2008 -- Virginia Governor Announces 800+ New Jobs for Danville
Richmond, VA – Governor Timothy M. Kaine announced yesterday that Com.40 Ltd, a major manufacturer of mattresses and upholstered furniture, will invest $36.3 million to open a manufacturing facility in the City of Danville. The project will create 813 jobs. Virginia successfully competed with North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas for the project. More Info
